We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry located in CHICAGO, Illinois. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with clerical duties, compliance management, and customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with their inquiries
Provide outstanding customer service by resolving issues and answering queries
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate customer records
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word in day-to-day tasks
Maintain email correspondence with customers and team members
Assist in audit and compliance tasks to ensure adherence to standards
Manage collections paperwork with efficiency and discretion
Schedule appointments and meetings as required
Undertake any other administrative duties as necessary to support the team
Requirements:
Proficient in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls efficiently
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction and relationship building
Ability to perform accurate data entry tasks with high attention to detail
Proficient in email correspondence, demonstrating excellent written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with healthcare industry protocols, hospital operations, and social assistance programs
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Demonstrates professionalism and maintains confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
