Job Description:

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Goleta, California, 93117, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various administrative duties, including managing inbound calls, customer service, data entry, and email correspondence in a retail setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively manage inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and ensuring all queries are addressed promptly
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data entry, maintaining meticulous records for reference and tracking
  • Handle email correspondence professionally, responding to queries and forwarding information as necessary
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create, edit, and manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and emails
  • Schedule appointments, ensuring efficient time management and coordination
  • Undertake filing, scanning, and printing tasks, maintaining an organized and efficient workspace
  • Utilize downtime effectively, identifying and undertaking tasks that contribute to the productivity of the team
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action where necessary

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in providing top-notch customer service, with a focus on maintaining positive client relationships
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks quickly and accurately, ensuring data integrity
  • Experience in managing email correspondence in a detail oriented and timely manner
  • Comfortable with both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, format, and edit spreadsheets
  • Experience in using Microsoft Outlook for email management, scheduling, and task organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create and edit presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, format, and edit documents
  • Experience in scheduling appointments, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
