A leading retail store is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to join the team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our business while handling bookkeeping responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage all administrative functions, ensuring the store operates efficiently
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
Utilize Spruce software to manage bookkeeping tasks and generate financial reports
Monitor budgets, prepare financial statements, and provide insights to improve efficiency and profitability
Develop and implement administrative systems and processes to streamline operations
Supervise and support administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to financial and administrative functions
Provide exceptional customer service and address questions about transactions or accounts when necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar administrative or bookkeeping role, ideally in a retail or small business setting
Proficiency in Spruce Software is REQUIRED
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail
Leadership experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred but not required with equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Spruce Software features such as accounting, inventory, and point-of-sale tools
