Job Description:

A leading retail store is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to join the team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our business while handling bookkeeping responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and manage all administrative functions, ensuring the store operates efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
  • Utilize Spruce software to manage bookkeeping tasks and generate financial reports
  • Monitor budgets, prepare financial statements, and provide insights to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Develop and implement administrative systems and processes to streamline operations
  • Supervise and support administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to financial and administrative functions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address questions about transactions or accounts when necessary

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or bookkeeping role, ideally in a retail or small business setting
  • Proficiency in Spruce Software is REQUIRED
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Leadership experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred but not required with equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Spruce Software features such as accounting, inventory, and point-of-sale tools
