Job Description:

As an Advanced Pharmacy Technician, you will work in various pharmacy workstations to ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance are met. The role involves packaging, staging, returns, inventory management, and coordination with drivers for deliveries. Omnicare, a CVS Health company, provides care in skilled nursing and long-term care settings while maintaining a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Partnering with function supervisor to coordinate workflow for assigned areas that prepare and process medications
Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, Machine Packaging
Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely
Performing physical inventories of medication

Requirements:

Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Prior experience in the long-term care industry
Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
PTCB National Certification
Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
