The Anesthesia Sales Specialist at Baxter is responsible for driving sales of Baxter's anesthesia portfolio in the specified geography, building relationships with healthcare professionals, developing strategic account plans, and contributing to Baxter's mission to save and sustain lives. The role involves significant travel and collaboration with internal teams to achieve business goals.
Job Responsibility:
Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of our anesthesia portfolio
Drive the placement of anesthesia vaporizers through our Vaporizer Lease Program
Identify and communicate hospital initiatives in the perioperative space
Leverage appropriate clinical messaging, tools and resources to close business and achieve plan
Maintain compliance
Identify key decision makers and influence buying decisions in targeted accounts
Deliver on all aspects of the anesthesia contract strategy
Target Academic Medical Centers to promote and educate clinicians on the portfolio
Develop strong relationships with current customer base
Leverage segmentation and targeting tools to identify and focus on accounts
Identify potential contract opportunities and gain customer agreement
Recommend and facilitate clinical education programs to support sales
Build relationships and collaborate with internal colleagues to improve processes and achieve results.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years' experience or 4+ years of relevant experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Anesthesia sales experience is highly preferred
Ability to understand and adapt to industry and market dynamics
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Strong intuition for business and knowledge of selling processes
Contracts management and negotiation experience preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license
Approximately 80% domestic travel including overnights
Must live in close proximity to a major airport.
