Job Description:

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated Animator to join our team. Based in Broomfield, Colorado, the Animator will be instrumental in designing and animating 2D characters, backgrounds, and assets for educational content. This role encompasses the creation of dynamic animated sequences that will captivate diverse audiences.

Job Responsibility:

Designing 2D characters, backgrounds, and assets with a hand-drawn or vector-based style
Crafting storyboards and animatics to outline crucial scenes and sequences
Working alongside writers, voice actors, and production teams to align visuals with narration and music
Animating fluid, expressive character movements and captivating transitions
Ensuring all assets align with a specific aesthetic—bold colors, dynamic typography, and playful compositions
Editing and refining animations based on feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables
Meeting project timelines for the delivery of engaging, educational animations

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of detail-oriented experience as an Animator
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, and Adobe Creative Cloud
Demonstrated expertise in both 2D and character animation
Proven ability to capture and animate characters to convey a story
Strong understanding of animation principles and techniques
Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team
Excellent attention to detail and desire to deliver consistently high-quality work
Strong portfolio showcasing a wide variety of animations
