Job Description:

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer for a contract to permanent opportunity in Newark, New Jersey, in the Higher Education industry. In this role, you will be fundamental in enhancing the functionality of our enterprise systems, with a keen focus on application management and database infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the performance of our institution's enterprise systems
Design and implement applications that align with the institutional objectives and user needs
Administer middleware infrastructure
Manage database infrastructure
Ensure all processes and systems comply with relevant regulations and standards
Maintain operational excellence across all applications and systems
Provide support for application-related issues
Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Dell Technologies, and Microsoft
Use knowledge in AB Testing, Active Directory, and Configuration Management
Handle computer hardware related tasks
Employ EO/IR systems skills

Requirements:

Proficiency in Cisco Technologies
Must have knowledge and experience with Database management
Familiarity with Dell Technologies
Experience with EO/IR systems
Proficiency in Microsoft software and tools
Must have experience with AB Testing methodologies
Active Directory management skills
Experience in Application Support
Knowledge of Computer Hardware
Experience in Configuration Management
