Application Support (Mainframe) job in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities include maintaining and administering mainframe legacy systems, supporting data extraction, transferring data to Windows servers, loading data into CRM/Dynamics 365, troubleshooting system issues, and participating in system analysis and design sessions.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and administer IPIS mainframe legacy systems
Support data extraction from mainframe applications (ADABAS, COBOL, JCL, TSO, IBM utilities, etc.)
Transfer mainframe data to Windows servers via UC4 file transfer
Load data into CRM/Dynamics 365 from SQL servers
Troubleshoot system issues and support new system transition
Participate in system analysis, design, and requirement sessions
Requirements:
5+ years experience transitioning legacy systems to new technologies
Full software lifecycle experience (requirements to production support)
5+ years hands-on SQL Server experience
Demonstrate technical understanding of data and technical database design
Nice to have:
Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and other performance and troubleshooting tools
Experience in system and data mapping and conversion
Any experience with COBOL, SAS, REXX, or .NET
Familiarity with SharePoint/MS OneDrive site for project artifacts
