Job Description:

Citibank seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to design and develop computer and network solutions, support application releases, monitor production servers, perform scripting, analyze user needs, and execute IT production support responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Design and develop computer and network solutions
Involved in application releases from development to production
Monitor production servers using remote access and SQL queries
Perform scripting using Batch and Powershell
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
Collaborate to develop specifications and integrate hardware and software systems
Perform systems management and integration functions
Analyze and tune queries for performance
Build new queries to retrieve records and debug production issues
Develop application contingency plans
Test changes in lower environments
Deploy changes with planned outcomes
Perform release management
Document and prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements
Assess risk and impact of production issues
Resolve application issues to support business stability

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
5 years of progressive experience in applications support in Windows Server architecture for financial services industry
Windows and Microsoft SQL/T-SQL
ServiceNow and ITRS
Scripting (Batch and Powershell)
File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and IBM Connect Direct (NDM)
IT production support
Release management
Database performance analysis
IT service management
Application management
Autosys
4 years of experience with IBM-MQ Series and Kafka
