Job Description:

Citi seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions with tools such as .NET Core, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and IoT; ensuring network data security; and providing application support in a hybrid work environment. Offering annual salary range of $143,000 to $170,000 with benefits including medical, 401(k), and paid leave.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for all phases of the software solutions designing and development process, using various programming tools, languages and technologies including Visual Studio, C#, .NET, Web API, Angular, Typescript and SQL Server
Develop and implement microservices with Microsoft and cloud technologies such as.NET Core, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and IoT
Use SonarQube, Black Duck and Checkmarx Vulnerabilities to conduct security analysis of the network layers and implement security protocols to ensure secure data transmissions
Review the applications for the Security Services Core business, including the calculation engine, billing and invoice processing, safe keeping allocations, agreements setup and accruals systems, and implement necessary security protocols
Analyze related business functions to understand and address issues faced during the production
Conduct applications testing and troubleshoot issues and errors
Investigate exceptions, provide performance tuning, and troubleshoot issues related to SQL Server databases
Coordinate with the other teams in release activities to deploy applications on multiple environments
Monitor application performance, and check logs to timely identify and fix errors
Reverse engineer legacy business logic to understand business functional units and resolve related development issues during production as part of maintenance
Recreate the detected development issues in testing for root cause analysis
Implement application enhancements, perform source code version controls, and provide ongoing support for deployed applications
Document design approach and components of applications using Visio diagrams
Review codes implemented by team members and provide subject matter expertise on code optimization, development, networking platforms and cloud
Research and share knowledge of emerging and up-trend technologies, and determine suitable upgrades as needed
Contribute to development of best practice and operating standards for database maintenance and security modules for compliance with the firm policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as an Applications Developer, Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related position involving design, development, and delivery of web services
at least two (2) years of experience with the following: Designing, architecting, and implementing microservices
Programming Languages and Frameworks-.NET Core, ASP.NET, WCF, Web API, MVC
Bootstrap Angular JS/Angular, HTML, CSS, Node JS, Phyton, Shell Scripting
OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes
AWS (Amazon Web Services), cloud technologies
Using Jenkins and Lightspeed to perform analysis, design, coding, and implementation
IoT (Internet of Things)
Crystal Reports 11, Oracle SQL Server
Designing and implementing Security protocols and ensuring networks layers are secured for high value data transmissions
