Job Description:

Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst role responsible for developing and managing application processes including front-end, middleware, and back-end processes, while ensuring compliance with Citi standards and policies.

Job Responsibility:

Execute application development and maintenance
Write and modify Unix Shell scripts and database/SQL scripts
Develop and configure applications for RedHat OpenShift services
Application development and maintenance of front-end and middleware processes
Provide support for Java programs for batch and real-time processing
Collaborate with business analysts and other teams to document requirements and designs
Analyze requirements and determine feasibility of solutions
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
Document defects and technical specifications
Conduct integration, regression, and user acceptance tests
Execute performance tuning and resolve vulnerability risks
Implement data security and encryption standards
Ensure timely delivery of objectives and lead deployments.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as Programmer Analyst, Associate Software Engineer, or related position involving application development
Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience
Web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, JSTL, JSON
Developing batch jobs and scripts for middle-tier and back-end processes
Writing queries and stored procedures, functions and triggers
Data security, encryption and decryption
Documenting requirements and reporting using SharePoint and Jira
Developing and maintaining web applications and webservices using Java and associated frameworks including Spring and Hibernate
Utilizing Docker and Kubernetes to manage applications on RedHat OpenShift
Data visualization for monitoring and performance improvements on Kibana
Unix server and Oracle database.

Nice to have:

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Experience using Lightspeed Enterprise API
Performance tuning
RedHat OpenShift services
Knowledge of Citi’s software development standards.
