The Aruba Sales Specialist role focuses on driving sales pipelines, managing client relationships, and leveraging HPE solutions to provide value to customers. Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with account teams, maintaining expertise in industry trends, and understanding technological advancements to outcompete competitors.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for creating and driving sales pipeline
Capture and manage leads using closed-loop lead management
Maintain knowledge of competitors to strategically position offerings
Seek out new opportunities to build the pipeline
Support Account Managers and provide input for business development
Develop quota objectives and directions for product category
Establish and manage professional client relationships, including up to C-level executives
Work with external partners to deliver sales
Focus on contractual renewals for mid-to-large accounts
Coordinate and direct supporting sales activities.
Requirements:
University or Bachelor’s degree / directly related previous work experience
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface
Extensive selling experience within industry and on similar products
Typically 8 - 10 years of advanced sales experience
Project management skills required
2-3 years of product sales in the desired specialty
Expertise in knowledge of products, solution or service offerings as well as competitor’s offerings
Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills
Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships up to C-level for mid-to-large accounts
Demonstrates leadership and initiative in sales
Knowledge of program/project management methods
Selling of high value software and service solutions.

Ability to leverage company portfolio to outcompete competitors
