The Asset Coordinator is responsible for assisting in coordinating the daily activities of the Asset Advantage staff as directed by management. This includes providing excellent customer service, equipment management, and overseeing daily tasks within the role. Duties include attending safety meetings, ensuring compliance, coordinating schedules, utilizing PC-based tracking systems, and assisting with equipment maintenance.
Job Responsibility:
Attend monthly safety meetings
Demonstrate a proactive approach to safety awareness and compliance
Complete medical testing in a timely manner
Sustain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities
Identify safety concerns and correct as necessary
Assist in the scheduling and training of AssetAdvantage staff
Coordinate daily work assignments, oversee and engage in Asset Advantage contracted activities
Monitor daily and monthly performance metrics incorporation with management
Assist with projects, inventories, or other special requests as needed
Responsible for inventory, delivery, retrieval, and coordination of medical gases
Perform equipment decontamination procedures according to company and customer guidelines
Assist with tracking and pulling assets due for preventative maintenance
Utilize a PC based computer system to track equipment throughout the healthcare facility
Identify and communicate problems to management
Perform assistance with patient transfer, when requested
Effective and professional communication with company and customer management/personnel
Assist in providing education and in-service training for customer’s personnel as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Applicable technical or trade school training preferred
Experience working with medical devices and/or FDA regulated products preferred
Previous mechanical/hands-on experience preferred
Adapts to new technologies and is comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Schedule flexibility/on-call
Occasional overtime required
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to resolve conflict
Ability to read, comprehend, interpret, analyze, and apply technical information including but not limited to technical manuals, technical bulletins, schematics, etc.
Effectively present information both verbal and written in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Basic mathematical skills related to calculating/analyzing weights and measures, volume, distance, etc.
Ability to walk a minimum of seven miles per day
Ability to tilt and roll oxygen tanks on/off carts and staging areas (ranging from 9 lbs. to 287 lbs.)
Ability to push a cart of 24 to 40 E Cylinders (Cart weighs up to 400 lbs)
Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lb.
