Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Act as a key member for regular valuation process in particular for IFRS17 reporting
Provide support on the actuarial items and MI information for various stakeholders, including Local Management, Finance, Risk and Group Office
Ensure that the financial reporting work is compliance with the internal and external audit requirements
To provide solutions and timely response upon request
Maintain HSBC internal control standards
Ensure compliance with Model Governance Standards, IFIM and other FIMs where applicable
Provide support to and supervise work of junior team members

Requirements:

Extensive experience in an actuarial role at a global insurance firm
University graduate in Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Business Finance or related discipline, with more than 5-year experience in life insurance
Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
Experience with pricing or valuation of participating business will be an advantage
