Job Description:

Entry-level management position leading banquet staff; focusing on event execution, guest satisfaction, and team development at Sheraton Johor Bahru.

Job Responsibility:

Manages departmental inventories and assets
conducts monthly department meetings
manages banquet service staff scheduling
applies and broadens knowledge of event presentation
interacts with guests to obtain feedback
ensures sanitation levels are maintained
interviews and hires banquet employees
supports departmental orientation and training programs.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, or related professional area.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of food and wine pairings
