Job Description:

Entry-level management position leading banquet staff and executing events. Responsibilities include managing assets, scheduling staff, interacting with guests, and ensuring departmental efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Leads the banquet staff and assists in executing events
manages departmental inventories and assets including equipment maintenance
conducts meetings with banquet captains and employees
schedules banquet service staff
ensures guest satisfaction
responds to guest problems and complaints
interviews and hires banquet captains and employees
provides employee training
supervises departmental operations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in event management
food and beverage or related professional area.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of food and wine pairings
knowledge of cutting-edge cuisine
banquet and event presentation skills.
