Job Description:

A $200+ million renewable energy company is seeking an Assistant Controller in Houston, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for hybrid work with autonomy over Accounting entries, standards, and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Create and manage GAAP Accounting Policies
Oversee Audit and Regulatory Compliance
Manage the month-end close
Oversee Financial Reporting and analysis
Supervise tax filings
Handle complex accounting questions and technical accounting
Ad-Hoc Projects as they come up company-wide
Handle Intercompany Transactions

Requirements:

CPA Strongly preferred
General tax knowledge
Project focused industry background
Start-up Experience
Prior Leadership experience
US GAAP knowledge is mandatory
