Job Description:

We are in search of an Assistant Controller to join our team in Tumwater, Washington. In this role, you will primarily oversee all aspects of accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Invoicing, under the supervision of the Controller. You will also provide guidance to Accounting Specialists and assist with the management of various financial tasks and projects. This permanent, direct-hire position requires the ability to work on-site in Tumwater 5 days per week.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the management of Accounting Specialist I, II, and III transactions and personnel
Respond to customer credit hold processes
Aid in the management of accounting for the organization's subsidiaries
Implement the addition of new customers in the ERP system
Contribute to the preparation of ACH and wire transactions
Engage in the preparation of check deposits
Assist in the creation of monthly reports
Contribute to the Controller's tasks and projects
Participate in special assignments as required
Provide support to Human Resources duties when necessary

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent
Proficiency in managing all Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
Expertise in Auditing procedures
Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently
Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger maintenance
Proficient in Account Reconciliation tasks
Experience with Full Cycle Accounting
Ability to generate and analyze Financial Reporting
