Job Description:

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for managing month-end close reporting, overseeing the revenue cycle, reviewing general ledger entries, assisting in financial reporting, overseeing payroll, and leading a team of 5-7 people.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month end close reporting package
Oversight of the revenue cycle for Trust and Investment Management
Involvement in and oversight of general ledger entry preparation and review
Assist in review of certain financial reporting schedules for Call/Regulatory Reporting and SEC filings
Oversee the payroll process including benefits billing and compensation accruals
Lead and develop a team of 5-7 people

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
10+ years of accounting experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Banking, financial services, mortgage, investments or related industry experience

Nice to have:

CPA
Public company experience
Software implementation experience
