Job Description:

The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong is currently hiring an Assistant Director of Sales - Catering serving The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and W Hong Kong. The role involves strategic leadership in catering sales, driving business, and ensuring high levels of service and guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

Function as the strategic business leader of the complex Catering Sales Department of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and W Hong Kong
Drive catering business by identifying potential clienteles for event planning solutions and services
Work with the Food and Beverage team to develop menus and themed events
Interact effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors in order to ensure guest satisfaction
Ensure the implementation of a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service
Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
Manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provides forecasting reports

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in hotel industry
Excellent time management and able to work under pressure
Good business acumen with market intelligence
Good leadership and problem-solving skills
Be innovative and passionate to strive for service excellence
Excellent command of English, proficiency in other languages will be a plus

Proficiency in other languages
