As an Assistant Director of Scheme Reform Communications, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality communication strategies and fostering inclusion within the disability sector. This role focuses on leading campaign management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement clear, effective communication strategies tailored to diverse audiences
Lead and support a team, ensuring high-quality work is consistently delivered
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring engagement is effective and sustainable
Plan, manage, and evaluate communication campaigns using data-driven insights to maximize impact
Create accessible, concise, and engaging content in plain English, ensuring it meets the needs of all audiences
Manage projects with attention to detail, allocate resources efficiently, and adapt plans as necessary
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance communication strategies and stakeholder understanding
Requirements:
Strategic Communication: Ability to craft clear and effective communication strategies for diverse audiences
Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience in leading and supporting a team to deliver high-quality work
Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Campaign Management: Ability to plan and manage communication campaigns, utilizing data and insights to inform strategies
Plain English and Accessibility: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and accessible content
Project and Resource Management: Experience managing detailed or sensitive projects, allocating resources, and adjusting plans as needed
