Job Description:

A supportive and innovative SEN school in Soham seeks a dedicated and experienced Assistant Head - SENCo to shape SEN provisions, ensure inclusivity, and support student progress.

Job Responsibility:

Implement and develop the school's SEN policy and provision
Coordinate delivery of effective interventions and support strategies for students with special educational needs
Liaise with parents, teachers, therapists, and external agencies
Assess and monitor student progress
Promote a culture of inclusion and understanding

Requirements:

Qualified SENCo or qualified Teacher
Experience as a SENCo
Leadership experience
Willingness to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS)
Completed Child Protection Training
Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons
