As Assistant Housekeeping Manager at London Marriott Canary Wharf Hotel & Executive Apartments, you will support the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department to maintain a high level of service and cleanliness. You will manage operations, budgets, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Director of Services in the overall running of the housekeeping department
Manage housekeeping department operations and budgets
Ensure guests receive an immaculately-clean housekeeping experience daily
Ensure the team provides exceptional customer service
Manage housekeeping inventory and assist in ordering supplies
Be responsible for Health and Safety training of the team
Support training and development of employees
Oversee lost and found procedures
Communicate guest room status to the Front Desk efficiently
Work effectively with the Engineering department on guest room maintenance needs
Supervise an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public spaces
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a premium hotel
Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced hotel environment
Courage to lead change, innovation, and inspire others
Promotes collaboration, trust, respect, and inclusion in the team
