Job Description:

A busy and growing company in Oceanside, CA, is looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a leadership role that blends customer service, team management, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Assist the Manager in overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations
Supervise, develop, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and meet performance goals
Handle scheduling, workflow assignments, and staff evaluations in coordination with the Manager
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations
Assist in inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and merchandise display
Resolve customer issues and provide guidance to staff on delivering excellent customer experiences
Monitor and report on key operational and financial metrics
Step in to manage the location in the Manager’s absence

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
2–4 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing industries preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with staff and customers
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and teamwork
Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays
