Job Description:

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Merchandiser to join their dynamic team. As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the Buying Office in achieving sales targets, analysing data, and executing strategic activities.

Job Responsibility:

Assist the Merchandising team to achieve seasonal sales and profit targets
Collaborate with the Buying team to recommend improvements and maximise sales potential
Use analysis of departmental performance to trade and drive profits
Forecast sales and manage stock levels
Develop vendor relationships to influence trading opportunities
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure alignment and clarity
Prepare reports and provide insightful analysis for strategy planning
Complete seasonal markdowns and monitor stock targets
Manage and develop team members

Requirements:

Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Advanced Excel knowledge
A team player with excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Proactive and able to work with initiative
Excellent multitasking abilities
