Entry level management position responsible for daily operations in Restaurants/Bars. Position assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards, assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods and supervises Restaurants/Bars and Room Service Departments, where applicable. Responsibilities include ensuring guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Accountable to ensure standards and legal obligations are followed.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a departmental role model or mentor
Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time
Ensure that hourly employees are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job
Encourage and motivate employees
Assist management to ensure that hourly employees have the necessary resources
Assist management in establishing and communicating goals
Coach and develop employees
Listen to hourly employees' suggestions
Coordinate tasks and work with other departments
Collaborate with management to develop and carry-out ideas and procedures
Assist management in ensuring that associates are completing online trainings
Ensure all daily and monthly reports are detailed and submitted in a timely matter
Ensure maintenance of equipment
Report guest’s comments or complain through GXI
Raise Purchase request in a timely manner
Update checkbook from time to time
Assist management with scheduling
Ensure that opening and closing check lists are done and completed each day
Work closely with management in leading the monthly beverage inventory
Train outlet cashiers with proper cash handling
Maintain proper inventory worksheet of all operational equipment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-year experience of a similar position within a five-star hotel
High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
