Job Description:

Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury. This role involves managing and partnering on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as the quarterly earnings process and ensuring compliance with financial rules and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Formulate and drive technology budget planning process
Represent Controllers in finance-wide discussions and ensure Controllers compliance to the overall Finance target
Review and monitor key performance indicators across the organization
Execute/coordinate/enhance risk monitoring of technology investments
Partner with various teams to ensure compliance on overall target and to identify opportunities to accommodate incremental investments
Execute/support various ad hoc efforts to increase budget efficiency
Prepare reports, briefings, and executive level presentations on strategic initiatives, projects, and priorities
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/University degree
5-8 years of experience in a program management planning role with data/technology experience
Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization
Proven ability to conduct research with excellent analytical skills
Detail orientated with clear/logical approach to problem-solving
Strong project management and excellent organizational skills
Proactive and ability to work independently or as a team player
Ability to multitask, work under pressure in a demanding environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Self-motivated with ability to maintain a controlled environment
