Job Description:

The Associate Attorney role at a leading civil litigation defense law firm involves working on public entity and municipality representation, with cases in catastrophic PI, premises liability, civil rights, and employment claims. The role offers mentorship, advocacy opportunities, and a partnership track.

Job Responsibility:

Arguing motions in court
Taking/defending depositions
Trial preparation.

Requirements:

1-7+ years of civil litigation practice
Insurance defense and/or public entity law experience is preferred
Active and in good standing with the State Bar of California
Possession of a JD or LLB degree from an accredited institution
A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing law, preferably in civil litigation
Demonstrable expertise in state, local, and municipal law is a plus
Experience in liability defense is highly desirable
Insurance defense litigation skills are a key requirement for this role.
