Job Description:

A long-standing law firm in Seattle is looking to add another Associate Attorney to handle Insurance Coverage cases in their Environmental group. This role is central to our legal team, focusing primarily on litigation defense. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within the insurance industry, handling tasks related to insurance coverage and first party claims.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize your insurance law knowledge to provide comprehensive legal advice and solutions
Handle insurance coverage issues, providing expert advice and guidance to clients
Communicate effectively with first-party insurance carriers to resolve disputes and claims
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of insurance coverage trends and policies to provide informed legal advice
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal services
Assist clients in verifying insurance coverage, ensuring they have an understanding of their policy benefits and limitations

Requirements:

1+ YOE in Insurance Coverage, Insurance Defense, or Environmental Law
Strong legal research and writing skills
Active WA license
Juris Doctorate
