Job Description:

Law firm specializing in insurance defense is seeking a remote Associate Attorney to manage insurance defense matters, mostly car injury cases. Responsibilities include litigation lifecycle tasks, drafting legal documents, and trial preparation. Ideal candidate will have a California Bar license and 2-5+ years of civil litigation experience.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a caseload of litigation files, ensuring each case is handled efficiently from inception through trial with partner support
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and promote detail oriented practice standards
Handle various litigation assignments according to the needs of the case
Prepare detailed reports and conduct file analysis to ensure all relevant information is readily available
Demonstrate awareness of compliance with all applicable court rules
Utilize bilingual skills, if applicable, to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients

Requirements:

Must hold an active California Bar license
2-5+ years of experience as an attorney practicing civil litigation is required
Prior insurance defense experience is a plus but not required
Spanish fluency is a huge plus but not required
