Job Description:

The firm is located in Westlake Village, California and will consider newly barred candidates as well as associates with up to three years of experience or more. This attorney will be given duties based on experience, but eventually will be given the tools to manage cases from inception through trial. This role is primarily litigation-based but will also involve some transactional work.

Job Responsibility:

Manage cases from inception to trial
Conduct discovery, including depositions
Attend court appearances
Draft and review pleadings and legal documents
Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
Handle project-based work
Utilize case management software
Manage litigation matters
Draft and review contracts
Maintain focus on client outcomes

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Eager to help clients
Ability to commute to Westlake Village 2-3 times per week
