Job Description:

We are actively seeking an Associate, specifically within the realm of Community Association. This role will be based in Fairfax, Virginia, and will involve working on cases for a diverse range of clients in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include providing legal advice and representation, conducting legal research, preparing court arguments, achieving billable hours, and collaborating with team members.

Job Responsibility:

engage in Community Association matters, providing expert legal advice and representation
conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and legal proceedings
prepare and present arguments and counter-arguments in a court of law or other legal proceedings
maintain a high level of professionalism
utilize knowledge of Juris and Bar Admission during case preparation and representation in court
maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice as needed
monitor and achieve billable hours target as part of performance measures
collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management
continually update professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of clients and the firm

Requirements:

Virginia Bar Admission is a mandatory requirement
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a team as well as independently
strong organizational skills
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
familiarity with legal research tools and databases is a plus
strong attention to detail and accuracy
high level of professionalism and ethical standards
ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
customer service-oriented attitude
knowledge of current laws and regulations related to the field
open to continuous learning and skill development
