Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Temporary Attendance Officer! Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives? Do you thrive in a dynamic educational environment? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Attendance Officer at a local school in Bournemouth, where you will play a crucial role in promoting student attendance and punctuality.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the academy's registration and attendance management information system
Utilise the daily automated system to contact parents/carers about absent or late students
Collaborate with Heads of Year to encourage and support student attendance
Identify attendance and punctuality concerns, discussing strategies for improvement with relevant staff
Provide administrative support to ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with data protection legislation
Produce reports and monitor attendance data, developing improvement strategies where needed
Consult and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies through various channels (telephone, email, letter, text)
Liaise regularly with Student Support Services Team, SENCO, teachers, management, and other parties

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (not essential)
