Job Description:

The Attendant-Bar position at JW Marriott Hotel Harbin River North involves completing opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires physical tasks, adherence to safety policies, and professional interaction with guests and team members.

Job Responsibility:

Complete opening and closing duties
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables
Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas
Follow company and safety policies
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Read and visually verify information
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
