Job Description:

The role involves ensuring the 'Gold Standards' of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day. The position requires maintaining cleanliness, following safety protocols, and providing excellent guest service. The job is located at The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife Abama, part of Marriott International's portfolio of brands.

Job Responsibility:

Complete closing duties
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Follow company and safety policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Read and visually verify information
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Move up and down stairs and service ramps
Reach overhead and below the knees
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist
Ability to set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Follow company and safety policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
