Job Description:

The Attendant-Food & Beverage position at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to safety and company standards. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Follow company and safety policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Read and visually verify information in various formats
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
