Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in LEXINGTON, Kentucky. As an Attorney/Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, focusing on a divestiture project. Your duties will include attending project-related meetings, reviewing and modifying contract provisions, and drafting correspondence and documents related to the transaction.

Job Responsibility:

Attend and contribute to internal meetings pertaining to the project
Review and amend current contract provisions as necessary
Draft detailed correspondence regarding the transaction
Draft amendments and related documents for the transaction
Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts and agreements

Requirements:

Must possess a detail-oriented law degree (JD) from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing
Proven experience as an Attorney or Lawyer, preferably in a corporate setting
Demonstrated proficiency in Commercial Contracts
Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Divestitures
Strong background in Contract Negotiation
Experience in Drafting Agreements is a must
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgments and decision-making
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High degree of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality
