We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer to be a part of our team situated in GLEN ALLEN, Virginia, United States. In this role, you will be expected to handle various aspects of civil and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. You will be essential in processing legal tasks, maintaining accurate records, and responding to legal inquiries.
Job Responsibility:
Execute legal research to support ongoing cases
Compose memos and briefs to aid in case proceedings
Manage the drafting of pleadings to be submitted in court
Handle discovery requests and responses
Provide assistance in taking and defending depositions
Engage in motions practice to advance case proceedings
Requirements:
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active membership of the Virginia state bar
Minimum of two years of experience as a practicing attorney
Proven expertise in Civil Litigation
Demonstrated proficiency in Commercial Litigation
Familiarity with proceedings in Federal Courts
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong research and analytical abilities
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
High ethical standards and detail-oriented integrity
