Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer in the legal industry, with a focus on immigration and humanitarian law. The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and has the flexibility of remote work, with occasional visits to the local office.

Job Responsibility:

provide expert guidance on immigration law matters
stay updated with changing rules and regulations of immigration agencies
work in close collaboration with a paralegal manager and administrative assistant
ensure ongoing legal needs of clients are met
manage new matters to handle increased demand and workload
leverage language skills to communicate with diverse clientele
contribute to pro bono initiatives

Requirements:

JD
active U.S. state bar membership
2–5+ years of immigration law experience
strong knowledge of immigration laws and processes (e.g., adjustment of status, waivers)
excellent communication, advocacy, and case management skills
fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish) is a plus

Nice to have:
