Job Description:

We are in search of an Attorney to join our infrastructure team based in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected candidate will primarily focus on transactions, offering legal advice to various departments, and drafting contracts and Board of Commissioner resolutions. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, offering both on-site and occasional remote work schedules.

Job Responsibility:

Providing legal counsel to various departments, including public works, cooperative extension, film, purchasing, land bank, and facilities
Drafting and reviewing contracts with meticulous attention to detail
Creating Board of Commissioner resolutions as needed
Offering advice on legal matters related to company transactions
Utilizing 'Privilege' and 'Contracts' skills to ensure all legal aspects are handled professionally and efficiently
Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to the team's overall objectives
Ensuring all legal documents are drafted, reviewed, and stored as per the company's guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

Applicant must possess comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in drafting legal documents
Familiarity and understanding of the concept of Privilege in legal contexts is essential
Proven ability to prepare, review, and negotiate contracts is required
Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Must be licensed to practice law in the state or capable of obtaining licensure
Strong research and report-writing skills are necessary
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion is crucial
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
High degree of detail oriented ethics, integrity and gravitas
