Robert Half is seeking a full-time Attorney to join our client's thriving Labor and Employment practice group in Park Ridge, Illinois. This Attorney will be heavily involved in managing employment law and commercial litigation matters, developing policies and agreements, and providing legal counsel to clients with diverse needs.
Job Responsibility:
Develop employment-related agreements, policies, and employee handbooks
counsel on employment concerns including employee relations issues, accommodation requests, and workplace investigations
execute all phases of litigation in federal and state courts for employment law cases
conduct legal research and analysis to provide solutions to complex legal issues
participate in business development activities
experience in investigation and discovery of large collections of documents and data files
interact with other practice groups to provide comprehensive legal services
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer
proficiency in Employment Law
experience in creating and revising Employee Handbooks
familiarity with HR Compliance matters
strong knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws
experience in anti-harassment and other employment training
