Job Description:

Our client, a prominent Community Association Law Firm, is seeking an Attorney to support their debt recovery team in their Lakewood Colorado office. The successful Debt Recovery Attorney must be licensed to practice in the state of Colorado; will have 1+ plus years' experience, ideally in HOA collections; will be a team player, a self-starter, highly organized and be able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.

Job Responsibility:

initial case intake and evaluation of delinquencies
direct preparation/approval of pleadings in county, district and bankruptcy court
pre and post-trial negotiations
evaluate post-judgment options, garnishments, interrogatories, stipulations and foreclosures
participate in firm business development activities
handle heavy case load of approx. 300 files in a month

Requirements:

licensed to practice in the state of Colorado
1+ plus years' experience, ideally in HOA collections
team player
self-starter
highly organized
able to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

Nice to have:

Experience in Civil Litigation
Knowledge of Consumer Electronics
