Job Description:

Seeking a mid-level attorney to assist in the litigation and employment practice. Successful candidate will have experience litigating employment controversies, counseling securities personnel, and handling a range of employment transition and litigation matters. Must possess strong writing and advocacy skills and be licensed in a US jurisdiction.

Job Responsibility:

employment transitions
exit strategies
employment contracts
restrictive covenants
TROs and injunctions
other employment controversies
dispute resolution
client complaints and settlements
settlement negotiations
civil litigation

Requirements:

Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school
active member in good standing with the State Bar Association
minimum of 5 years experience as a practicing lawyer or attorney
proven track record in Employment Law and Civil Litigation
excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to draft and review legal documents and advice
superior communication skills, both written and verbal
high level of professionalism and confidentiality with a commitment to ethical conduct
ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
proficiency in legal research tools and software
available to work beyond standard office hours when required
willingness to keep updated with current legislation and legal trends.
