As a Audience Activation Manager for Marriott's EMEA Marketing team, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing member contact strategies within a globally connected and locally empowered team. Your role will contribute to developing an audience strategy to achieve our marketing and loyalty goals, optimizing our outbound comms (email, app push, SMS), and applying localization approaches. You will be ultimately responsible for planning and activating use cases with Adobe tools, such as AEP and ACC. This role requires a deep understanding of both marketing and technical data repository/campaign management systems. Job Responsibility:
Work with the EMEA Member Communications team to establish strategic regional outbound comms delivery plans that align with overall business goals
Develop and implement audience segmentation tactics to effectively target key customer groups
Represent EMEA in the Global Audience COE, request CDP data injections, create new audiences, support activation use cases, and facilitate cross-team learning
Provide advice and collaborate with other EMEA marketing channels (Paid, Digital Merchandising) to maintain a consistent audience approach across all omnichannel experiences
Work with the commercial analytics team to incorporate market research and consumer behaviour insights, identifying new audience opportunities
Develop and manage a scalable campaign management framework from idea generation through to delivery, including testing plans, campaign optimization, and efficiency improvements
Collaborate with content and campaign management stakeholders to develop campaigns tailored to each channel, engaging, and retaining target audiences
Design and implement best practice workflows (e.g., automated workflows, specific deep links) targeting across email, app push notifications, and SMS
Coordinate and manage campaign tasks, resolve issues, and communicate status
Be capable of executing any AEP and ACC activity individually
Partner with Global team and vendors to obtain strategic and operational support for Adobe tools (AEP, ACC)
Document processes and train team members to understand and perform duties related to Adobe tools when required
Design testing to optimise campaign performance and improve user experience
Analyse campaign performance data to derive actionable insights and optimize future campaigns
Provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders on audience engagement
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
Proven experience in audience strategy, campaign activation, and data analytics, specifically for outbound marketing comms channels like email, app push, and SMS
