Job Description:

We are actively searching for an Audio/Visual Technician to join our team in DES PLAINES, Illinois. In this role, you'll be tasked with handling, installing, and maintaining various media and computer-based equipment. This includes classroom technology, audio-visual systems, video conferencing, and other related technologies. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Handle the coordination and installation of new media and computer-based equipment, including classroom technology, audio visual systems, and video conferencing
Ensure the proper installation and testing of cables, equipment, and cameras, and maintain documentation of installations and procedures for support
Offer support for digital and streaming video, projector systems, and conference and classroom based computer control systems and programming
Utilize your skills to analyze, diagnose, and repair audio visual and related equipment
Assist users in utilizing media technologies and troubleshoot problems in real-time
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
Maintain accurate customer credit records

Requirements:

Proficiency in Computer Hardware
Familiarity with Mac Computers and Apple Devices
Knowledge of Backup Technologies
Experience with Cable Installation
Ability to handle Audio Equipment
Understanding of Audio Video concepts
Experience in using Wireless Microphones and Microphone technology
Expertise in Streaming Video operations
Ability to operate and maintain Projectors
Skills in Documentation and record-keeping
Proficiency in Basic Troubleshooting of audio/visual equipment
