Job Description:

This role involves reviewing and ensuring compliance with GAAP, federal, and state regulations, leading and guiding audit teams, and establishing effective communication with management and clients.

Job Responsibility:

Ensuring the financial statements and reports are in compliance with GAAP, as well as federal and state regulations
Leading audit teams and providing guidance in evaluating financial risks, implementing audit plans, and improving internal control systems
Effectively communicating with management, clients, and stakeholders regarding audit findings, recommendations, and other relevant issues
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of audit procedures, findings, and recommendations
Developing and delivering timely and accurate audit reports to meet the expectations of clients and regulatory authorities
Participating in special audits or investigations when required, and supervising and mentoring entry level audit staff
Continuously auditing and monitoring financial and operational processes, identifying anomalies in financial records or statements, and investigating any discrepancies
Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems
Maintaining strict confidentiality of all financial records, reports, and client information
Preparing audit working papers that accurately record and summarize audit procedures performed

Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
Proven experience in handling Audit Engagements effectively
Demonstrated proficiency in Auditing, with the ability to identify and address discrepancies
Prior experience as an Audit Senior, leading a team and overseeing audit processes
Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply its principles effectively
