Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is looking for an Automation Specialist to work on automation products related to separation assays (i.e., chromatography) in a dedicated team. This role is project-based and includes tasks such as designing custom fields and supporting lab systems initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Support on automation Lab Systems processes, standards and data management
Participates/lead lab systems initiatives and projects according to business needs – commercial or new products (e.g. analytical equipment systems, global platform projects like LIMS, SDMS etc., paper less opportunities)
Creates, reviews and updates related documentation
Cooperates with key stakeholders and represents team in meetings
Involved in continuous improvement projects
In Charge of documenting administrator procedures, technical installation procedures and maintenance procedures
Provide support in case of problems
Adhere to compliance best practices, EHSS regulations and lean principles
Perform other work-related activities assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

Bachelor/Master degree in Life Sciences, Applied Physics, Chemistry or in other such position
Well-grounded thinking and problem-solving
Excellent understanding of Excel-based precise formulas
Experience with (Computer)System Validation in an GXP environment
Proven experience in automation, quality control or related fields
Experience with the Empower software platform is a plus
Planning skills, ability to prioritize multiple commitments and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good team player, also able to work independently
You are able to take actions in absence of specific instructions
You can read and write protocols/reports, business correspondence and procedures

Nice to have:

Experience with the Empower software platform
