Automotive Estimator I

• Inspecting vehicles for body, detail and mechanic needs
• Developing positive working relationships with Estimation team members, allied teams and customers
• Developing repair or reconditioning estimations, including parts and labor, assisting team members with part purchase / pricing detail and communication
• Placing work orders with repair and/or reconditioning teams
• Monitoring work progress
• Verifying accuracy and completeness of work once complete
• Documenting and updating records
• Visibly demonstrates safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such
• Actively participates in and support all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

• A high school diploma or GED and generally less than 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs (e.g. tools, equipment)
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
• Safe drivers needed
• valid driver’s license required
