Job Description:

My client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Azure Platform Engineer to join their team in the UK. This role is ideal for a cloud expert with strong experience in Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), microservices architecture, and security best practices. Job Responsibility:

Design and implement Azure Landing Zones (LZ) in line with Microsoft Enterprise Scale Architecture principles (IAM, governance, cost management, monitoring, policy-as-code)
Architect, build, and deploy cloud-native microservices using Microsoft Azure technologies, including AKS, serverless (ASP, Function Apps), and API Management

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise-scale cloud architecture
Expertise in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and cloud-native application deployment
Banking experience
Solid knowledge of Azure security best practices and networking principles
Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and DevOps automation
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to cloud solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
