Job Description:

As Backend Web Developer in TUI’s hotel brands web development team, you’ll make our clubs’ web presences happen. For ROBINSON, TUI MAGIC LIFE as well as TUI BLUE. In an international work environment, you will work in a highly motivated team, both centrally and with many colleagues decentralized across the TUI Group

Job Responsibility:

Development and implementation of optimal, customer-oriented IT solutions as well as their sustainable documentation
Innovative further development of the TUI hotel brand websites
Development of new technologies, new features, and innovative topics and trends as the first in the market for our customers
Technical assessment of business requirements for tourism applications
Advising stakeholders on the content and technical further development of products and services
Coordination and co-designing of the architecture for tourism applications and services
Security is part of everyone’s job

Requirements:

Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with relevant additional certification
Very good knowledge of PHP, Symfony/Laravel, Composer, Doctrine, PHPUnit
Database knowledge (MySQL)
Confident handling of Git
Experience with integrating and implementing APIs
Experience with Continuous Deployment (GitLab, Docker) is desirable
Knowledge in system architecture and the development of highly available server and web applications, preferably in tourism or eCommerce systems
Experience working in Agile teams and projects
Strong customer orientation, a pronounced quality awareness, and teamwork skills
Fluent in English

Nice to have:

Experience with Continuous Deployment (GitLab, Docker)
